Christmas Cupcakes by Cara Lucas, Gladys May Cakery
What you’ll need:
– Any flavour cupcakes (as long as they’re delicious!)
– A good dose of Christmas spirit
Snowman decorations
Water icing/fondant for snowy base (cut off the cupcake’s tops first)
Giant marshmallows for the body
Mint chocolate or chocolate orange Matchmakers for arms
Orange fondant shared into carrots and left to dry for nose
Melted dark chocolate/black piping icing for eyes and mouth
Christmas tree decorations
Green buttercream (any good quality food dye will do) piped into a tall swirl using a star nozzle
Multi-coloured sugar pearls for baubles
Gold star for top (made from fondant/sugarpaste left to dry then painted with edible gold paint)
Edible glitter for sprinkling
